Bring on the Green
Now I should clarify I am talking about the greens of nature here, Winter is still holding on and we don't have many signs of spring, but with the temps climbing up into the 40s for the next week I am hopeful this is a sign that spring will soon be making an appearance.
Now thinking about that I was looking forward to the fresh greens coming out as spring comes into season, and that's what I will focus on for this post, with some images from a couple of walks I took back in April last year.

I guess one could say I find the arrival of spring and the greens coming out quite sublime and beautiful so let me make this a post for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.
Now what's different with this post from most of my post is these were not taken at the early morning on one of my sunrise walks, When my wife has an appointment at the Salon for her hair, there's a couple of spots I head to for a quick walk while filling in time till I have to head back and pick her up, and starting with one of them the Acushnet Sawmill, A nice small wall beside the water

Including over this flowering portion of the stream, I believe this little falls and drops are to help the fish spawning upriver here, I have yet to see the fish but hope that one day I will

And another portion of the water, it was great to see the new growth and fesh greens on this walk last year

And this is another spot not to far from the Salon also in Acushnet, It has another nice small walk by the woods, but also this flowing water, which I focused on for this visit, primarily I was siting hoping to catch some photos of birds,

But even if not having luck catching bird photos its a lovely spot to relax in with the sound of the running water, the nice breeze and the sounds of birds in the woods
which I will admit I didn't have much luck with but i will try again this year visiting this spot

I wish I had an easy secret to share for my returns, honestly I don't know, Perhaps its related to how active I am on here, well I should say how active I was on here as I have slacked off the last few weeks with things going on, but i used to be very active visiting and commenting on tons of posts each and every day.
Other than that being active posting a lot my Hive power has built up making it to Orca Level which I guess may be a factor but I am not really sure
Eheheh I am not afraid of scary places. But I knownyou do work hard here. So it is deserved. Thanks for the tip. Maybe I do need to at leastctake a couple of hours a day to be here and checking what is everyone is up to. :)
Funny thing is now that I am retired I am less active here on hive
While working I spent 3 to 4 hours commuting on the train that’s when I was most active engaging n hive

Well yeah I think I am but honestly I thought I would have so much free time when I retired and I always seem to find things I need to do lol

The light at the end of the tunnel :) We got 6 inches of snow yesterday. Always interesting to walk along waterways for mills and try to figure out how things used to be. Encouraging pictures of the coming Spring.

A truly wonderful #sublimesunday post @tattoodjay . I think if there can be natural stone with lichen, some moss and grasses and running water of any sort I'm happy. These ingredients can always lift my mood and thank you for using your phototalent to give us all a sublime way to enjoy a Sunday.

It was icy and cold out this morning
I just went to the supermarket and then did a workout at home
Here we have Spring weather - it's sunny and warm, but only in the sunshine.
I wanted to visit a new waterfall this morning, but after 1 1/2 hours driving I found out that the road there is closed and I didn't want to walk for hours. So I saw my trip as a scouting trip and I will certainly return.

Haha, yes, first I took the wrong road and then the right one was closed, but it's a beautiful little valley that will be colourful in Autumn.
The nights are also freezing cold here, but the days are sunny and cloudless, but the end of next week will be wet, says the weatherman.

Acushnet seems like such a nice place, especially for a walk on the wild side of nature. The rocks used for landscaping, bridges, and wall are a touch that I miss very much.
It makes everything seem just a little bit prettier.
There is hope that spring is coming. (just don't use those 40-degree temps as an incentive... you almost lost me there. I was going to put my winter coat on while I read this cold post!) Kidding. It has been warm here, but, last night at 14 degrees? Holy Moly! I forgot what cold felt like! The outside hoses had to be winterized for the night. The last thing I need is for the outside hose or sprinkler system to freeze.
Le sigh.

Well looking ahead in the forecast we have most of the next week in the mid 50's not as hot as there but I will take it and hopefully if that weather holds spring will start making an appearance, which I am so looking forward to
