Abolition Row Park
A couple of days ago I did a post showing the Statue of Frederick Douglas in a park here (I would include a link to it, but I prepare posts in advance and have not shared that post yet), today I will share with you some photos of the park, which only opened recently is is a charming little park highlighting some of the history of the area.
Starting with a photo of the open area of the Park showing the Gazebo and the Statue can be seen in the background to the right of the Gazebo

That morning it was clear initially and the air quality was OK, but while I was out that soon changed both with some clouds and feeling a taste in my mouth then I noticed the color of the sky and checked the air quality app and found it has jumped to Unhealthy for sensitive groups, so I called my walk off at that point

But not without getting a shot ofthis house
If you read the post I mentioned earlier showing the Statue of Frederick Douglas you may remember I said when he arrived in New Bedford he stayed in the house of Nathan and Polly Johnson and that house is across from the park and shown in the next photo

That is a cool curve pattern in the concrete. I like the gazebo too. It's quite beautiful. That's just a classic east coast style house there. We only have couple near where I live that have adopted that style. This park looks like a great tribute to a great man.
thanks for your visit its a great little park and for a great reason :)
What a beautiful place, I love it! It's very original and it's true the curved pattern I really liked it. The sunset gave it a magical touch.
Thank you @tattoodjay ✨

What a cute little park 🙂 that 1800s wood frame house painted white with green shutters would fit right in here in Vermont.
Fantastic Place, very very good work! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Cheers from India! ❤👍
