a little bit of Irish
This post weas inspired by @wwwiebe who mentioned setting up a light box in a recent post.
It reminded me that just before my wife had her fall and broke her hip I had ordered a lightbox online, well it arrived while she was still in hospital and she needed a lot of care when she got home so I had dropped it down in the basement and completely forgot about it, till reading @wwwiebe's post the other day.
So yesterday I ducked down tot he basement and found it and set it up and this post will be a few shots of a little Irish Lilliput lane collectible house that I have it is called a little drop of Irish
I have a few of little miniature houses and may share photos of some other ones of them, most are not Liliput lane ones but another collection I have but when I get round to doing a post of them I will share them.

It worked out well seeing the post and being inspired as I haven't been out taking photos due to the cold, and the odd day when its not to cold, its been raining so I had been frustrated not trying out my new camera, all these shots were taken with my new Sony A7iv.
the other plus is I like to keep some variety in what I share photos of so this is for sure something a little d1fferent.
The detail in these little Lilliput lane houses is pretty cool so I am goign t share a few shots from different angles

I have Irish ancestry and had a great Aunt and Uncle that were like grandparents to me, since mine had passed when I was a toddler so I always have a special thing for anything Irish

And here is the Light box/tent I have, its a brand name Fositon that I bought from Amazon, and has a couple of led strip lights inside it which you can adjust the brightness of, I have a few other ideas for projects I can shoot in this

So cool and so cute too!
I can't wait to see you other projects happen in there!
you know your gorgeous little houses remind me of the very first thing I bought with my very first credit card back in 1997 (which was ONLY meant to be for emergencies when I was in the US...) and I hadn't even left Aust at that stage...
So I bought a set of Franklin Mint collectible plates with old flower filled cottages on them just like this one here https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/oakleigh/collectables/beautiful-collectable-franklin-mint-shabby-chic-cottage-roses-plates/1273572741 And I've still got them too! (packed away safely...)
Thanks I look forward to trying a few other ideas in the light box
that plate is so cute, I think one of my family has some of those
And I look forward to seeing them!
I will keep those plates cause one day...🤣
Beautiful house

That's awesome! Those lightboxes are cool. Mine do not have the internal lights and it's always a chore to set the lighting up correctly. I might need to hunt down a new one.
Those houses certainly are pretty neat; the level of detail on them is amazing. I don't have any of those, but I do have a number of Dicken's Village houses that I bring out at Christmas.
Thanks for the inspiration
this one is fairly big they came in various sizes and seems I went for the biggest one not sure why, its a brand called Fositan and seems pretty good
I think I remember seeing your Dickens village houses in a post
I have a few Coca Cola themed little houses but that I will share on Friday :)
This is super creative!

Have a great day
And you too!
Oh, that isn't at all what I expected it was going to look like. Very cool. I like the little house. It reminds me of some of the lighthouse moldings that my grandma used to have. I bet you are going to have a really great time with this.
It was fun to do something different
I think I will use the light box a bit till it starts warming up I have a few projects in mind
That is a pretty neat little lightbox set up. I have a converted closet in my studio that I use for plants and storage and such but I have good lighting in it so it acts as a pretty good sort of light box, but I like this little pop up version. Well done @tattoodjay and I love miniatures so adorable little cottage to play with in filming.
Your closet sounds a good one
Quiet happy with mine already thinking of other ideas to try in it
How cool is that! I didn't know you are into Lilliput Lane houses.
What caught immediately my attention on that one is the Irish Cross in front of the house. A grave?
I bought a portable LED light box, but it is too small for my coin.
I tried using it... finally I just abandoned the idea, hehehe 😊
I love this one
And I to love the cross maybe it is a grave
My light bix is big maybe to big but I guess better than too small
Yes, there is an election this time, it's really impressive, and amazing. Oh, I'm sorry, for the disaster that befell your wife, I hope she gets well soon..
Thanks she is doing a lot better now
get well soon
🙏 thank you
You're welcome

Light boxes are just great to use. Especially for the subject you chose.
Cute little house with so much details.
Thanks
I have a few other things to try in it including some more little houses
You are welcome. Looking forward to seeing them 😊
👍🙂👍
Beautiful! It's good that you changed the subject. The tiny miniature houses are so cute. This is a real refreshment. :)
I wish a speedy recovery to your wife. Sending healthy vibes in your direction.
