The Festival of Colours ( Holi )

Holi is a festival of colours which is celebrated in India. As this blog shows me and my friends from town meet once a year and roam around the town going to friends houses to celebrate this day by putting colours on eachother. As you see in these pictures we walked through town and celebrated catching up with eachother having sweets and drink made of marijuana called Thandai.

Friends of childhood we wait for Holi to catch-up with eachother as there are only few days we get this time in years to get along and enjoy the company once is a part of daily routine.

Holi is a festival celebrated because of the deep and eternal love of Lord Radhakrishnan as Holi in their life make a significant mark. And also the victory of good over evil is one more reason to celebrate this festival. As it is the most awaited festival of indian festive season and also mark the starting of festivals in India.

These are few pictures of me and my friends soaked into colours as we did selfies with friends. The colour festival is a way to get the bond back with your old friends as we always enjoyed the day out. Some pictures are of last year and years before that.
