One of the most amazing things about editing Mina magazine has been discovering absurdly talented artists from all over the world.
When we decided to do an issue about street photography, we started looking for artists from different locations, as our intention was to show very diverse scenarios and broaden our own concept of what a city is.
So in this delicious search we came to the work of photographer Viviane Rakotoarivony, who was born and raised on the island of Madagascar.
Viviane captures scenes from everyday life in places that are familiar to her, and made me see and dive into realities that are quite different from mine, since I have always lived in urban centers.
I was really shaken by this artist's work and leave you with her interview for the 8th edition of Mina and the images that speak for themselves.
