Tinkus, ancestral dance
Colors, joy and strength in each dance step, this and more represents this native dance of much of the South American Altiplano (Bolivia, Peru and Chile, also in some parts of Argentina), the "Tinkus" which is its name that comes from the same dance is a kind of ceremonial ritual, in which the strength of the steps, movements and colorful costumes are of vital importance.
Colores, alegría y fuerza en cada paso de baile, esto y más representa este baile autóctono de gran parte del altiplánico sudamericano (Bolivia, Perú y Chile, también en algunas partes de Argentina), los “Tinkus” el cual es su nombre que proviene de la misma danza es una especie de ritual ceremonial, en está la fuerza de los pasos, los movimientos y los coloridos de los trajes cobran vital importancia.
This event was a small parade in which a big band of them was present in the streets of the city, with dances, instruments and above all spectacularity filled the common streets.
Este evento fue en un pequeño desfile en el que una gran banda de ellos se hacía presente en las calles de la ciudad, con bailes, instrumentos y sobretodo espectacularidad llenaban las calles comunes.
The indigenous culture of each country has been increasingly lost and being overshadowed by the continuous social progress, leaving behind beautiful processes and full of historical power in between, in this dance and in this ceremony still live those ancient customs that invite to involve the community to also be part of it.
La cultura indígena de cada país cada vez se ha ido perdiendo y siendo opacada por el continuo avance social, dejando atrás procesos hermosos y llenos de potencia histórica de por medio, en esta danza y en esta ceremonia aún viven aquellas costumbres antepasadas que invitan a involucrar a la comunidad a también ser parte.
