Hi, Good people! Greetings from Bangladesh.
Today I am going to share some random street photos which will represent the struggle of the children in the street , which I captured in different time from different places. I would like to share their struggles of living through my photography.
Bangladesh is a developing and middle income country. So, here a number of population lives in marginal line of poverty. So, the poor families have tendencies to force their child to do small street business or begging for living rather than go for the education in the school.
So, yes lets have a little journey with me in the street of Bangladesh.
1. Love, Trust & Struggle:
I have captured this beautiful bonding of trust and love In front of University of Dhaka. I was in hurry for catching my classes and almost running in the road and suddenly my eyes was stuck on this painful but artistic side of our living in unconditional love. They were begging in road side seemed very tired and may be fell asleep in a certain period of their tiredness. May be they were siblings, I don't know as they were sleeping but I was just mesmerized to see their bonding of love and sense of responsibility. I was just watched them for 2/3 minutes without blinking my eyes. I was speechless.
2. Sacrifice, Struggle and the lost Childhood:
I captured this innocent curious eyes from my hotel . I was in the coastal area of Bangladesh. Went there for my official responsibilities. When I was enjoying the weather of the morning, suddenly I discovered these innocent curious eyes were watching me with full curiosity as I was totally new there in the community and he was the local one. Then I captured this photo with his consent and he was so happy and shy too when I was capturing his photo.
This boy was selling vegetable flowers for earning and suddenly I felt we are actually snatching their childhood for poverty because in this age they are suppose to play in the ground and enjoy every aspect of their life. But have to sacrifice their childhood for living! Such a pity!
3. Siblings, Responsibility & Childhood:
I have captured this very responsible children from a car stuck in traffic Jam. I was in a car and suddenly I saw them waiting. May be they were siblings and their mother were somewhere else for other business and gave the responsibilities of the other children to the elder one's though he was also a child. I felt the sense of responsibility of the elder one, how he was taking care of the youngers and waiting in patience in the road while he also needed care in the road.
4. The Waiting :
This innocent eyes were captured by me from the bank of a river. It was coastal area and this boy was waiting in a boat for passengers. He was all alone in the boat. I was afraid to see that, because it was risky for him to raw the boat in such a river which have strong current. Later, I assured to see that his father joined him and the boy was assisting his father to raw the boat in the river.
When I see this street children, I feel that we could not give a safe and secure childhood to them but they our future. The talent or capacity of our future is dying with the struggle of living in street!
So, That's all for today. Will come with other mobile photography with the story. you can write yours thoughts about our street children.
Be safe and every pre cautions during this pandemic!
