📷 Dolphins in the Red Sea

in Photography Lovers3 years ago

I am always happy to see Dolphins. Since childhood, I often looked at them from a boat or sometimes even from the shore. But under water for the first time I saw them quite recently, in December last year, when we were on dive safari in Egypt.

We, of course, wanted to see them, but were not sure that this would happen - no one can guarantee. Even in those places where divers see them often, it happens not every time. In any case, in the first day of safari program, the first dive was scheduled for a dive site with a promising name Dolphin House, near Hurghada.

Full anticipation, we dived. Time went, we went on the dive route for our dive guide, looked around, but the dolphins did not appear. I was slightly disappointed... But, as you can guess, looking at these photos, the dolphins still came! :)

At the end of the dive, when we have already returned to our ship and gathered to ascend, someone from the group saw them a little in the distance, and everyone immediately swam in their direction. And the dolphins did not disappoint us - they swam with us and around us for a few minutes, posed to all people with the camera. It was just super!

It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.

What an incredible experience @sharker! When I was in the middle east (on the Red Sea) we missed the dolphins. But I remember those magnificent creatures of the sea growing up on the South Coast of SA. I did lifesaving and often there were the dolphins, surfing the waves a short distance away. Breathtaking. Thanks to @joanstewart for the reblog of such a special post!

Swimming and playing in the water, body surfing with dolphins in the waves an amazing experience! Excellent photography here I love the second photo, dolphin looks like it's smiling.

It does! And she probably is!

It does! And she probably is!

By far an experience one will never forget!

Oh yeah! I'm glad you liked the post :)
Wow, being a lifeguard sounds so cool! Did the dolphins come very close to you?

Closer than the sharks at least! They would get pretty close but still a safe distance. We soon realized that they were actually forming a protective wall around us and those more distant sharks

It's really very good that the sharks were farther away than them :) Very interesting about the protective wall - I didn't think they can (and want to) do that.

Dolphins have that incredible protective instinct - even towards humans!

Most memorable experience, swam with wild dolphins in East London, South Africa while enjoying the back waves. Truly something to remember for a lifetime, with amazing photography (which sadly we never had), lingering memory still enjoyed when the going gets tough!

@tipu curate

Oh, I think you had an even more exciting experience. It's so wonderful!
Yes, the memories will please us for a long time, I hope. Fortunately, we were lucky, we saw dolphins two more times after that, and although there are no photos from one of them, this does not make us less happy :)

Humbling privilege being allowed to mingle with them, even if only a short space of time.

Yes, since we can't exist in their world.

Fortunately, humans making enough of a mess both above and below as it is.

I think it was an amazing experience, I had the same experience in Egypt last year.

That's for sure :) Happy for you! Where did you see them in Egypt?

When I stayed in Hurgada and went to Paradise Island.

Oh, also near Hurghada, nice :)

I like the dolphins on your photography 😊

Glad to hear that, thanks! :)
