[ESP/ENG] Blanco y Negro/Black and White

Black and white is the photographic technique where color is absent, which allows the image to be more direct, explicit, raw, because it is only based on the composition of lights and shadows and therefore allows a more explicit and blunt discourse between the artist and the viewer. With black and white we challenge our imagination to fill the images with color according to our personal experience and interpretation, because the lack of colors shows us a different reality than the one we usually see and therefore tries (and most of the time succeeds) to show the soul of the discourse, the essence of the feeling or emotion that the lens tried to capture.

This series I recently took with my sister Clau. We are both monochrome lovers and reverence artists such as Alan Schaller, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, Chema Madoz and other great masters of black and white and use of light. This is a modest contribution to conceptual monochrome portraiture and a visual gift to the community.

“Butterflies can´t see their wings,
they can´t see how truly beautiful they are,
but every one else can.
people are like that as well”.

These are some extremely beautiful shots! That black on black is a nice illusion of depth or a lack of it. Great job and excellent framing for your compositions!

Thank you very much, I am very happy that you liked it! I was really pleased with these photos and my model was very pleased as well!🙏☺️

She better be pleased... she's your sister! hahahaha OR maybe that makes her more difficult to please?! Keep up the great work.
