Last year I discovered that annual Christmas Fair had a lot more than Market square with all sorts of goods... it also had a free skating ring, and carousel! This time I returned to it with my babygirl, and we tried to skate. It was much fun! and I took loads of pics as well. It was not an evening, so I had more or less nice lighting, - which benefitted to the photos.
A good skating ring starts with quality, wel-levelled ice, right? We checked - the ice at this location was excellent! It is looked after and leveled twice a day; when we arrived the ice machine was just adjusting the ice before letting visitors in.
Who of you has ever held a penguin by the sides?
Well, there is such an option! might be very enjoyable, but I did not tried it. Too old for that stuff, lol. (Also, there are bears and cats available).
I wasn't the only person with a camera here. (You can't see hands of the woman on the right - but she is holding a camera as well!) The frame captured a beauty photo shoot titled "Me at the skating ring" :)
Falls are of course inevitable when skating... but it seems to me that this boy didn't fall - he just lay down to rest!
A girl with Mr.Bear - he is very supportive and reliable!
Not only kids had their fun - the place fit a lot of happy pairs as well. It is sort of fun that never become boring!
...and after skating we all can have a little break and take a cup of coffee, mulled wine and snacks. Even hot-dogs go well after skating!

Yay! What a winter adventure!
I was just thinking as I was waking my mind up this morning about my content, themes/brands and winter adventure being a good one for me. Especially being up north like you and having a bunch of winter events to capture and share.
I was looking at the lady in white and thinking “wow you guys sure are stylish when you go out with your kids for some fun!”
I went out last night to check out some of the lights festival in town here. Besides gathering with the community and snapping some pics to share for the blog, the even better part is seeing the kids out having a blast and watching their brains explode & brighten their eyes.
Colourful fun story but you are also sharing happiness with people across the world!
It is more important to be warm rather than stylish, I'd say :P But yeah, some of these snow-white fluffy mittens, hats, scarves look extremely cool, a pleasure to look. But happy kids faces full of emotions are even more pleasure to look at. Was glad to entertain you! 😃

A beautiful day. You seem to have captured a lot of happiness in these shots. The penguins are a great idea for supporting those whose skills are not so strong.
Back in the day, I would have liked that. Too late now. A fall could be end of me :))
Well, we have a lot of other sorts of fun. I cant name myself a birdie too, not anymore. Silver blogger, as you. My bones are creaking and crunching, and the blood is cold and there is always a lack of warmth; a clear signs of age!

We live in a house with my daughter. She is downstairs. If we didn't have two-zone heating she'd go crazy because we keep it so warm :))

Not this time, nope. But that is not the main problem, haha. Can you guess after 5 or 6 years break, how did my legs reacted on the day after this?.. They were fridgebuzzing for almost a week! Need regular training to avoid this, it was the only sufficiently unpleasant aftertaste.

...then, I suggest, you better try an ice only after you holster your camera to backpack (exactly like I did) - so the camera would stay safe! (Well, small bruises on a person will heal in two days, so it’s not that scary )))) but a lot of fun!

О! это ко мне, это запросто. у нас сейчас много. За два дня понапападло... только я не фотографировал. Наверняка если какой нибудь свежий пост мы увидим от @tatdt то будет видно сколько снежища.. и он красиво лежит на всем, на деревьях.
Про подставки для катания - здесь да, входят в комплект так сказать. Но это каток от щедрот Правительства Города... А где каток платный - там они стоят символически 150-200 рубликов в час, что в общем ощутимо добавляет к цене проката коньков и входному билету. НедешОвое выходит удовольствие - покатать всей семьей, да не 1 час а два... да если ехать куда то еще. То проще остаться дома и ну его нафик. Ужас... Печаль.
Да, много снежища:))) Я фотографировала, но теперь мне надо перестать лениться и написать пост.

На Кипре и за деньги практически нет развлечений для детей. А те что есть - тоже дорого.
Недавно, что очень приятно, в одном из супермаркетов моего города выделили около кафе (оно на втором этаже) небольшой бесплатный детский застекленный уголок с игрушками. Есть наблюдательница. Это очень удобно если ребенка не с кем оставить: отдал его, закупился и выпил кофе. Можно и поесть.
Кофе варят на песке, вкусное!!! Я его перепробовала во многих местах и мне все не то (вредная я что-ли 😉) а здесь он отличный!
И что меня удивляет дешевый, по сравнению с другими, полтора евро двойная порция.
1.5 евро? да, суперская гуманная можно сказать цена
