Hello hive friends, I hope we are all staying healthy and blessed. Thank you to all my friends who have supported my posts in this beloved community.

In this post, I want to share photos of the aftermath of the natural disaster that struck our area. We continued our journey to several locations, exploring roads and villages to see the conditions of the villages affected by the natural disaster.

We passed a main road that had just been cleared using heavy equipment after a landslide completely covered the road. This road was quickly cleared, removing landslide material, as it is the only major route connecting the districts.

We passed Jalan Teritit, Merie Satu, Central Aceh, a main route connecting the districts of Bener Meriah, Bireun, and Lhokseumawe. Our journey this time encountered several houses that had been buried by landslides.

During this journey, we stopped at several locations where landslides had occurred and observed a number of buried houses. Along the roadside were several houses selling groceries and bananas.

Before the natural disaster, many residents in this area sold bananas, so every time you passed this road, you would see banana vendors along the roadside. But that day, everything had changed: piles of earth and wood had buried and covered their homes.

Dozens of homes had been damaged and destroyed by landslides, as high hills stood in front of them. The landslides had destroyed their homes, causing them to collapse, and even the land behind them was eroded.

Some of their homes had tilted, fallen into the valley slope, and even collapsed. The landslide material, such as clay, had blocked access to their homes.

The high piles of earth in front of their homes had left them with no hope of remaining in their homes. In fact, some of these homes were uninhabitable, and many residents had evacuated and vacated their homes for safety.
