Hello hive friends, this time I want to share a photo post.
When I went to my chili garden, I found some mushrooms growing on dead tree trunks. I was initially looking for vegetables in the garden, but as I was wandering around, I found these mushrooms on tree trunks.
This rotting tree trunk seemed like a good place for mushrooms to grow, especially since it was damp and easily absorbed water. This was a dead durian tree trunk, lying on the ground. When touched, it felt damp and had a rotten texture.
According to my wife, mushrooms are often found growing on dead wood in this garden. This variety of mushroom can indeed grow easily in the damp areas of our garden.
My wife often finds them when she goes out to look for vegetables in the garden. These mushrooms grow in dense clusters, intertwined with each other. The leaves are white and appear wide, with short, round stems embedded in the dead wood.
They call these mushrooms oyster mushrooms because the shape of the petals resembles the shells of oysters that live in the sea. Upon closer inspection, each leaf has numerous gill-like slits and holes.
My wife says this mushroom can be cooked; they've been using it for a long time, usually stir-fried. It's not too bitter, and after washing, the flavor becomes even more delicious, especially when stir-fried with spices. It's perfect with rice or noodles.

That concludes my post, I hope you enjoy it...
