What is the name of this tree?

Hello, botanics. Does anyone knows the answer?

It is a seaside tree and has interesting fruits.They look extra ordinary as you can see from my photos.

I haven't really seen anything like this before. In my town we are more used to see apples and pears.

The tree is actually really big, between 5-7 meters.

So, does anyone knows the answer to this fruit? Is it eatable?
