I've been trying to branch out lately with my photography styles. I tend to shoot a lot of macro stuff and flowers but lately I've been figuring out my style with landscape photography. I really like how these turned out and hope that you do as well.
This first image I noticed while driving through rural Iowa, I quickly turned around and stopped to get this picture. I really like the composition and symmetry of this photo, as well as the leading lines that guide your eyes to the trees resting on the horizon.
I like this photo because it feels very peaceful. My home state might not have picturesque mountains or warm sandy beaches, but it does have rolling hills and patchworks of farmland that are beautiful in their own right.
I had spent most of the day trying to stay ahead of the clouds but they finally blocked out that beautiful blue sky. This photo is the last landscape shot I got that day, I really like the subtle bends and folds of the land in this one.
This final photo is from a few weeks back and is what started me on this journey through the landscape photography world. I hope that you enjoyed my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Thanks!
