Patience is almost always rewarded.

You will see in the third photo what I am talking about.

Just a wide selection of photos to share today.

One can never know what to expect, and as human beings with frail minds we can so often get it wrong. But then again, with a bit of fortune, we can get it exactly right. I don't know what urged me to keep an eye on that strange arrow like cloud, but I decided to wait and see. Somehow, I had a feeling that the birds might fly over that arrow cloud on the mountain. And believe it when I tell you that things worked out exactly as I thought.

I saw the birds flying about high up and I waited until they flew over the top of the arrow like cloud in the first picture. This waiting is called patience.

What did I tell you? Eventually the birds did exactly what I expected.

And now I will show you some mountain shots.

This was around lunchtime, and I got into a spot of bother with the security as they didn't like where I stopped the car to take some of the shots below. I explained that I didn't park the car for the day, as I'm just taking photos of the mountains and then I would be on my way. Can you believe the guard insisted that I leave immediately.

This band of cloud seemed to sit across the face of the mountains for the day. But you will see how the colors of the cloud and the sky change.

A different angle here.

Later in the day things looked even more beautiful.

The western clouds were lining up for another sunset of beauty as we passed the trees on the way back home.

And just a last lovely photo as we arrived at home.

We don't go a day without fully taking in and embracing the nature we see and experience around us. So many don't see the natural world around them, and rush along with the human activities and see only their fellow humans also rushing by. If one masters patience and perseverance, a most wondrous world opens up around one. The world of nature never stops being amazing and surprising. It brings us treasures and fascinating stories. So much time is spent on things that have nothing to do with nature and its role players. Time spent avoiding nature is time wasted. We, however, like to spend our time well and are open to the world of nature all around us. Nature is a free gift that money can't buy.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Wow, this is truly the fruit of extraordinary patience, good job👍

In winters the same way the clouds descend and the birds get lost in the clouds so these views are much more beautiful and memorable too.
