On a hill far away.

I love the foothills, especially when a strong wind shifts the clouds across.

Several shades of colors appeared on the hills as the clouds shifted over them.

At times I concentrate too much on the mountains, as there is so much beauty surrounding them. We now have very strong winds over here and the winds use the clouds, in combination with the sun, to paint the hills.
Some lovely sights appear, and I did my best to get some of them on camera this morning. The hills are about 1 kilometer away and the distance allowed me to also get the stunning big clouds into the photos.

At the left you can see that the mountain range had a big bank of cloud resting on it. But the foothills were where all of the action took place.

The two foothill shots below were taken at a darker stage.

Then the lighter stages started and the white trees in that valley were trees that were burned during a wildfire.

So, here below I will show you some of the lighter stages.

Unnecessary for me to caption every photo, as they can speak for themselves to tell you their own beauty. All that I can say is that on a day like this I get that queasy feeling in my stomach, as the scenes were not settled, and everything was constantly changing. Those still and serene shots were nowhere to be seen as everything was constantly changing, much like an unorganized slide show. But in saying this, it was nevertheless beautiful to watch, and I am glad that I was afforded the opportunity to show you this.
