Village life is a unique blend of simplicity and beauty. Today as I look out of my little shelter, the snowflakes falling from the sky mix with the rain.As usual I go to Narkanda market with milk. Due to bad weather, the buses are also not running today. So I go on foot.
Hatu Peak visible in front stands proudly. Its slopes are covered with fresh snow. Even on normal days, this place is mesmerizing but when snow adorns the landscape, it turns into a beautiful place.
As the evening starts to set in, despite the cold, as usual I let my chickens out to feed. It is a small but satisfying routine. Every moment is a gift.
