A review of photography from the past to the present

I am happy to be here with my artist friends. After joining the big Hiyo company, until the first post that I want to present to you, there was a gap of several days, which was only due to various work commitments.

As I said, I have been active in the field of photography for many years, nowadays mostly in the field of digital personal photos and in the past in the style of photography and the appearance of photos in the darkroom, with old methods. In such a way that I fully felt the emergence and progress of science in the field of photography.

In this post, I will post some of the old cameras that my father used to take pictures with.

This was a Russian camera that is completely healthy, but today due to the advancement of digital and the lack of its films, it has remained in the archive. Its negatives are relatively larger and completely professional in its own way, and its speed and aperture settings are set manually.

Their negative rings were usually 12 and the quality of the photos was fantastic. In the past, although the emergence of film was a lot of trouble and difficulty, the printed photos and papers available at that time were of extraordinary and unique quality.

This reel of movies is related to this camera that I have kept as an archive. It can be said that it can be one of the main assets of a photographer.

This is another Russian camera that is older than the previous one, which is known as a 4-camera. The negative of this camera is a book that has the capacity to print 4 photos at the same time.

This camera took very professional and beautiful photos. I remember always being eager to take pictures when my father told about the memory of taking pictures with this camera. Today, I have put this wonderful and special camera behind the window of my shop, and still many people want to get information about this camera. The pleasure of photographing and printing them on paper known as green paper had its own difficulty, but I liked the photo very much after printing.

In the darkroom, after taking the photo, we timed the raw film in the developing drug in a completely dark environment, and then placed it in the proofing drug to fix its color for 20 minutes. After leaving the proofing medicine, wash the film with water to remove the medicine. We left it at natural temperature to dry completely. After this stage, we took the photos we liked and needed and retouched them with special pens and additional shadows. This stage was extremely sensitive. If a mistake happened at this stage, we could wipe it with a cotton swab dipped in special materials.

After retouching, we put the film in the darkroom by turning on a very weak red light in the environment, in a device called Agran, so that it was placed on a glass surface where the light hit it from below. The first film appeared on the glass surface and we placed the printing paper on it and we counted the film and paper on it and timed it and it appeared on the photo and after the re-printing step we placed it in the printing agent for 20 minutes approx.

Of course, these times were not fixed. In the past, the stages of photo emergence and proofing were really difficult, but at the same time completely natural. These were a partial summary of the stages of taking photos and the emergence and proofing of film and print, which may be a wonderful discussion.

The era of analog printing in the past was difficult but natural, beautiful and special.

My pioneer and role model in photography is my father, who worked in the field of photography professionally for half a century before me, and was one of the prominent and famous photographers of the city. This is one of my father's photos in his shop. In the past, all photos were black and white, which has a different world than today.

Today, with the tremendous advancement of the digital age, analog photography can no longer meet the needs of people and is slowly being put in the archives. After several years of analog photography and then digital photography and with a history of almost 30 years and maybe more, I am still active today. But in addition to photography, I am very interested in nature tourism and mountaineering. And I am looking for an opportunity to escape to nature. God willing, in the next opportunities and future posts, in addition to photography, I will be more with you and by your side in the field of nature tourism and sightseeing.
