If you have traveled to England, you may have seen old castles that stand out with a stone facade in the fence of a green space. But in Iran, which has desert areas, you can see castles that have a thatched facade and the color of the desert. Remuk is one of hundreds of castles that were built about a thousand years ago. These castles were built both in Europe and in areas like Iran to protect people from the attack of invaders. This fort was built in the vicinity of Lut desert, which is one of the hottest climate regions on earth. Of course, maybe at the time of the construction of this castle, the heat was not as intense as it is today, but anyway, this area is known as one of the hot areas. I took these photos during my trip to Shahdad a few days ago. Shahdad is one of the districts of Kerman city. Kerman is one of Iran's four-season provinces, and you can see desert and mountain areas at a close distance from each other. For example, the distance between Sirach village, which is a mountainous area, and Shahdad, which is considered a warm part, is about forty kilometers. If you come to Iran, be sure to come to Lut desert. Definitely worth a visit.
