Yesterday, Radost Cerovska and I were supposed to shoot ballet jumps, but unfortunately she had a contusion in her ankle.
I thought we'd flip the script and tell you how athletes like her deal with the physical and mental pain of inevitable injuries. For Radost, this is over the twentieth minor injury for 17 years of ballet dancing experience. The first 5 were the hardest. Sports form comes back very hard with countless hours in the gym. After that, the athlete gets used to and accepts any injury as part of the game.
BUT IS IT THAT SIMPLE???
Of course not! Radost shared some tips from personal experience to fight depression.
1. ONLY WATCH HAPPY AND MOTIVATING MOVIES LIKE ROCKY.
- NEVER STAY ALONE IN BED!
- LISTEN TO MUSIC AND MOVE YOUR BODY THROUGH DANCE / AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE /.
- DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND EAT PRODUCTS LIKE CHEESE, MILK AND FISH.
- SET A NEXT GOAL IN YOUR SPORTS CAREER AND IMAGINE HOW YOU ACHIEVE IT!
Another very important thing is not to stay in hospital for treatment. The situation there is even more depressing. From everything Radost said, I understood that the most important thing is to stay positive. Nasty things happen. It's just inevitable!
Well, now I feel disgusting, because I didn't manage to photograph what I wanted, but beauty doesn't happen by force. Between the Other, we filmed in a wonderful building more than 100 years old - Tsarska gara. It has been abandoned for a long time, but despite everything it looks majestic to this day. I will tell you about her in a separate story.

Those pictures are Amazing, looking forward to see the story about tsarska.
Happy weekend!
Thanks a lot! 👋
Today I will photograph it at sunset.
Though most people tend to see injuries in sports from the physical aspect, the mental and psychological aspect is vital for total recovery.
I've had friends who never got back to their glorious best after injuries because of mental issues. The loneliness associated with not being able to do what one loves best is punishing. Aaron Ramsey, former Arsenal midfielder, never quite recovered mentally from the serious injury he suffered at a young age.
I once missed a very important semifinal match because I had groin injury. We lost the match and I carried the guilt for a long time, quietly blaming myself for the team's loss. It took a long while for me to sort myself out.
Lastly, surrounding oneself with loved ones do help to heal the mental scars of injury. Staying alone, one may turn to alcohol or drugs to avoid facing the possible outcomes of injury. Also, the points you highlighted were wonderful.
That's right! 👋
The key is precisely that we cannot do what we want. I imagine if I can't take pictures...
Regards!👊
Thank you for the tips,I always opt for the second one of listening while pulling off some moves so that the joints can try to move a little.
I used to train boxing. I always hated warming up, and this is so important! The trainer decided to play me music and that's how we solved the problem. 😀
