A Simple Harvest at Home: Photography, Family, and Small Moments for Stock

Hello everyone! Wishing you a wonderful end of the year full of joy.

Today I want to share a moment we enjoyed as a family: while harvesting chilies and some carrots in our small home garden, I took several photos to capture the fruits up close and show the cultivation process, with a focus also for stock photography.

The Chilies

These chilies are mild and medium-sized, in green and red. The photos focus on the chilies, showing how they grew in our soil. You can see some hands of my wife and children, interacting with the fruits, giving a natural and human touch.

My children and my wife always help me when I have ideas for stock photos. They participate by selecting the fruits, holding them, or just being with me while I take the shots. Their involvement makes the process more fun and gives the images a sense of family life and authenticity.

Carrots

In addition to the chilies, our carrots, although small, also grew and became part of the photos. It was the first time we cultivated them, and it was exciting to see them sprout from the soil, capturing every detail to reflect the effort and simplicity of our home life.

📸 Equipment and Process

I am not a professional photographer, but I make do with what I have: a Nikon D3200, a vintage 35 mm f/2.0 lens, and an 18-55 mm kit lens. My goal is to capture the natural beauty and family interaction with the garden produce. All of these photos were created with stock photography in mind, carefully composing colors, shapes, and scenes.

I hope you enjoy these photos and the small story behind them as much as we enjoyed living it.
