I went on a short photowalk to Myllysaari, a chain of small islands jutting into Lake Vesijärvi today.
There are three islands. The first one has a small park on it, the second is a very small one and the third, Myllysaari, has a boat club, and a restaurant on it as well as a small boat harbor.
Those bridges can be driven on by car just barely.
This is the restaurant.
A storage building owned by the boat club, I guess.
The other side of the island
It was about 15 C but quite windy.
Going back now
Beautiful shots! The first one especially has a well defined leading line. Very good.
Thank you! I shoot dozens of shots every day. I consciously pay attention to things like that.
Like here:
In this composition, we have:
A) The main subject placed addording to the "rule of thirds".
B) A leading like from the corner to the main subject.
C) The image has three layers to it:
the grass is the foreground
the main subject and the platform are the middle ground
he shoreline is the background.
D) The raindrops on the water form an interesting pattern.
the first picture is really great. thank for the informative post
The first picture makes it for me. Such a beautiful picture with great framing
I have always liked bridges for photography in the middle of the forest or by the lake, and I unconsciously go towards them for photography.
these pictures are great :)
Thanks.
The way in is more appealing. You have captured beautiful 🤩 moments with caption.
