About a month ago, I started working with a modeling agency in my city. Now, I'm their photographer! We recently did a Christmas-themed photoshoot, and let me tell you, it was a huge success. We managed to capture some really beautiful shots – very merry Christmas!
I photographed 17 models who are part of the agency. I'll start by showing you the individual photos. I've only chosen the best of each one to keep the post from getting too long, because there are just so many photos!
Desde hace mas o menos un mes comencé a trabajar junto a una agencia de modelaje de mi ciudad ahora soy el fotógrafo de la agencia y recientemente hicimos una sesion de fotos con tematica navideña y debo decirles que fue todo un existo, logramos hacer unas fotos muy lindas, very merry christmas!
Ese dia fotografié a 17 modelos que son parte de la agencia, empezaré por mostrarles las fotografias individuales, escogí solo mostrarles las mejores para no hacer el post taan largo porque la verdad son muchisimas!!
For all these photos, I used my CANON RP camera with a 50mm f/4 lens and two lights – the main light at a 45-degree angle to the model and a secondary light behind the model to separate them from the background.
We used a red fabric for the background to evoke the Christmas theme, which I later adjusted in editing. We also used some fake 'presents' for the holiday vibe.
Para todas estas fotos utilicé mi camara CANON RP con un lente 50mm a 4/f y 2 puntos de luces, la luz principal a 45 grados del modelo y una luz secundaria detras del modelo para separarlo del fondo.
Para el fondo utilizamos una tela roja para evocar la tematica navideña que posteriormente arreglé en la edicion, tambien utilizamos algunos "regalos" falsos para la tematica navideña.
One of the biggest challenges of this production was that, as you can see in the photos, there were a lot of people, and we only had an hour and a half to photograph everyone. To put it into numbers, that's a MAXIMUM of 5 minutes per person (and his couple) to get the photoshoot done in the time we had. So, everything was literally against the clock!
Uno de los mayores desafios de esta produccion es que como podran ver en las fotos fueron muchisimas personas y solo disponiamos de hora y media para fotografiarlos a todos, para explicarselo en numeros, era un MAXIMO de 5 minutos por cada persona (y pareja) para lograr sacar la sesion de fotos en el tiempo que teniamos, asi que todo fue literalmente a contra reloj!
Now, I'll show you the photos we took in pairs, and I'll also explain how we organized ourselves to manage a photoshoot with so many people in such a short time.
Ahora les mostraré las fotos que hicimos en pareja y tambien les explicaré como fue que nos organizamos para lograr hacer la sesion de fotos con tantas personas en tan poco tiempo.
Here's how we did it: The model would enter the set and do a maximum of 4 poses, then their partner would come in and we'd do 4 more photos. After that, we'd do the individual photos of the model who had just entered and then move on to the next two people.
To achieve this in the allowed time, everyone had to be prepared and have their poses in mind when it was their turn. Everything went well, and we did captured some really nice photos.
Nuestra forma de prodecer fue la siguiente: El modelo entraba en set y tenia que hacer un maximo de 4 poses, luego entrada su pareja y haciamos 4 fotos mas, luego hacia las fotos individuales del modelo que acababa de entrar y seguiamos con las siguientes dos personas.
Para lograrlo en el tiempo indicado, cada quien tenia que estar preparado y tener en mente que poses iban hacer cuando les tocara su turno, todo salió bien y pudimos hacer unas fotos muy bonitas.
