FROM MY JOURNEYS ACROSS THE OCEANS (D/ENG/ESP) - A new entry for #photographylovers

#deutsch Vor rund 10 Jahren habe ich mich entschieden, dem Motto "Arbeiten wo andere Ferien machen" in einer extremeren Form Folge zu leisten, und mich zur Arbeit im Restaurant des Expeditions-Kreuzfahrtschiff MS BREMEN als Kellner verpflichtet. Aus einem Vertrag wurden drei, und so bin ich rund fünfzehn Monate (3xfünf Monate) arbeitend über die Weltmeere gereist. Natürlich hatte ich auch meine Kamera dabei, und während den Servicepausen und auf Landgängen tausende Bilder aufgenommen (davon habe ich bereits zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt die besten 2000 Bilder aussortiert). Nun eine Dekade später hatte ich in Folge eines Bruches des Mittelfussknochens und einer einmonatigen Arbeitsunfähigkeit (mittlerweile arbeite ich wieder als Landschaftsgärtner) plötzlich Unmengen Zeit, und habe mich nun endlich daran gemacht, die aussortieren Aufnahmen einmal richtig von A bis Z (gemäss Beschriftung der Bilder) zu bearbeiten, und aus dem Ergebnis eine neue fotografische Serie zu erstellen. Zwar habe ich noch nicht ganz die Hälfte der Fotografien bearbeitet, konnte es aber nicht lassen bereits jetzt einen ersten Post meiner neuen Serie FROM MY JOURNEYS ACROSS THE OCEANS zu verfassen. Dazu habe ich einige der bearbeiteten Bilder ausgewählt und wild durcheinander, ohne grossen Zusammenhang, für einen ersten Post, zusammengestellt. Mit diesem ersten Post möchte ich herausfinden, wie meine bearbeiteten Erinnerungen oder die neu erstellte Template wirken. Und nehme auch mit auf meine Reise über die Weltmeere.

#english Around 10 years ago, I decided to follow the motto ‘Work where others go on holiday’ in a more extreme form and signed up to work as a waiter in the restaurant of the expedition cruise ship MS BREMEN. One contract turned into three, and so I travelled the world's oceans working for around fifteen months (three times five months). Of course, I also had my camera with me and took thousands of pictures during the service breaks and on shore leave (of which I had already sorted out the best 2000 pictures at an earlier date). A decade later, after breaking my metatarsal bone and being unable to work for a month (I'm now working as a landscape gardener again), I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands and finally got round to processing the photos I'd sorted out properly from A to Z (according to the labelling on the photos) and creating a new photographic series from the results. Although I haven't edited quite half of the photographs yet, I couldn't resist writing the first post of my new series FROM MY JOURNEYS ACROSS THE OCEANS. I have selected some of the edited images and put them together in a wild jumble, without much context, for a first post. With this first post I want to find out how my edited memories or the newly created template work. And also take you on my journey across the world's oceans.

#espanol Hace unos 10 años, decidí seguir el lema «Trabajar donde otros se van de vacaciones» de una forma más extrema y me apunté a trabajar como camarero en el restaurante del crucero de expedición MS BREMEN. Un contrato se convirtió en tres, y así recorrí los océanos del mundo trabajando durante unos quince meses (tres veces cinco meses). Por supuesto, también llevaba mi cámara conmigo y tomé miles de fotos durante las pausas del servicio y en los permisos en tierra (ya había clasificado las 2000 mejores fotos en una fecha anterior). Una década más tarde, tras romperme el metatarso y estar un mes sin poder trabajar (ahora vuelvo a trabajar como paisajista), de repente tenía mucho tiempo libre y por fin me puse a procesar las fotos que había ordenado correctamente de la A a la Z (según el etiquetado de las fotos) y a crear una nueva serie fotográfica a partir de los resultados. Aunque todavía no he editado ni la mitad de las fotos, no he podido resistirme a escribir el primer post de mi nueva serie DESDE MIS VIAJES POR LOS OCÉANOS. He seleccionado algunas de las imágenes editadas y las he juntado en un revoltijo salvaje, sin mucho contexto, para un primer post. Con este primer post quiero descubrir cómo funcionan mis recuerdos editados o la plantilla recién creada. Y también llevaros en mi viaje a través de los océanos del mundo.

Ushuaia es uno de los lugares que quiero visitar algún día, espero hacerlo pronto pero solo necesito 4 días porque odio el frío extremo jajajaja

Sí ..el clima es duro en el fin del mundo....pero descubrí el mejor choripan y el mejor chimmichurri en Ushuaia...y el parque nacional cercano es maravilloso.

El choripan no tiene competencia jaja que bien amigo que conozcas por estos lados. Espero organizar ese viaje pronto
