I was in Troy Texas a few years ago. This field had a bunch of purple flowers and I noticed there were these small white crab spiders on a lot of them. I captures a few macro shots of them and this is one of my favorites. These spiders are harmless to humans. There are hundreds of species and range in color, usually similar to the color of the flower they are hiding in to ambush prey.
