You know what, the winter and cold is different. It is a very dry climate here. So not cold to your bones cold. 🥶 One can tolerate much more. The only places that the cold is truly painful cold is along large rivers and the coast. Inland should be fine.
The nordics do have beautiful springs and summers 😁 maybe she will go one day during those seasons.
