I do recommend a visit during the summer. It is a beautiful spot with lots to discover.
To be honest… I think, as these are rock carvings. So indentations in the rocks. The red colour is probably added later by conservationists. Several times. As it wouldn’t have been done many moons ago when they were created.

It was fun and we laughed our little heads off going down and sliding along the steps hahaha 🤣
