A LITTLE OF MY JOURNEY AS A JOURNALIST

Hi my friends! It's the weekend but not for me as a Journalist.

Okay let's get started. My career as a Journalist started April 3, 2017 at KOMPAS TV, I am very grateful to HR Dita, she was the one who invited me to a psychological test and interview until I was declared successful from the millions of applicants who wanted to enter KOMPAS TV.

I was placed in the News & Current Affairs section of the investigation in depth program. I was only at KOMPAS TV for 1.5 years, because life must go on and I wanted to upgrade my career and move to IDN TIMES as a Producer and handle political, criminal, in depth investigations and daily news issues and breaking news.

Even though it was short at IDN TIMES, I felt many things and experiences, starting from the coverage of the earthquake, tsunami & liquefaction in Palu, Central Sulawesi in September 2018 at 18:42 WITA. I'm with SAR team helped report the search for tens of thousands of bodies. Together with other media teams, we share the joys and sorrows in the refugee tent. Then coverage of the Lion Air JT 610 plane crash in the Karawang sea, West Java, Indonesia. And there are many other interesting reports.

Then I moved to MNC Media which is the largest and most integrated media company in Southeast Asia. I work at five television stations (iNews TV, RCTI, GTV, MNC TV, SINDO News) and also support news for all online portals in the MNC Group.

I collaborate very easily with all state officials in Indonesia and abroad, I was also part of a team embedded with the Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno and traveled around Indonesia with Minister Sandiaga Uno, I was very lucky.

Working as a Journalist will not make you rich, but at least I have millions of memories and experiences that I cannot describe in detail. But life must go on, do whatever makes you happy in your career.
