As the name implies, this park was built in the memory of people who died in the airplane crash. The plane belongs to the Thai Airways and was carrying people from Thailand, Bangkok to Kathmandu. The plane collided with the mountains and every passengers including the crew died on the accident. The search operation couldn't be done due to the monsoon weather and was possible 2 days after the crash. The accident was the result of inexperienced officer working in Air Traffic Controller due to which pilot lost his sense in dealing with such officer.
The park had been built in the memory of all those killed in the crash. You don't have to pay any fee to go inside. There are trees everywhere around the park. Also a ground to sit on and a stairway made of bricks to walk on.
