Spring has sprung! The first signs of new life are making themselves known with small flowers and green shoots.

Where almost all is grey and brown, there is green now to be found.

Amongst the leaves of yesteryear the new blooms of today reach for the light.

The sweet vibrancy of the new spring green.

Snowflakes they are not, but snowbells they are called.

Soon there will be new life to replace the dry husks of yesteryear.

Spring will start anew with this year's colouring book.

The light arrives with longer days as the long dark of the night recedes.

Fruit they maybe, but not for you and me.

Of the year past and the year today, now side by side.

Vivid colour of vivid life.

T'is a strange thing, flowers before leaves. But there you have it. Nature knows best.

Ah, one of the Spring greens I enjoy best, especially in a few recipes.

Gorgeous flowers coming up! Always fun watching everything colour up again after winter 🙃

It is always a sight to see and enjoy. Thankfully this Winter has not been so bad here, although in other parts of Europe it has been rather snowed in. I'm looking forward to more outdoor time again. 😀

Sounds like it, and a friend of mine in North America was telling me about a snowstorm they had for a couple of days, and then I got sent pictures of a carpark where it looked like the owners of the cars were going to have to dig the cars out and then a track for them if they wanted to go anywhere O_O

Beautiful photography of flowers.

Thank you!
