Hi folks!
Although I'm not good at using film cameras, I love them as they always give unique and vintage vibes to my photos. Personally, I find it's hard to take a good pic by a film camera, and I always end up having only about 10 photos (or less) that I'm satisfied with in the total of 36 pics in a roll.
Today, I want to show you some of my best-loved shots and some of them are also very meaningful for me.
This pic of swans was taken in Nymphenburg. In fact, this photo has one of the most common issues in film photography - light leaks. Light leak is defined as "bursts of white or red/orange/yellow colours on your film, often in a streak pattern" (retrieved from https://shootitwithfilm.com/10-common-film-issues/).
Personally, I like the light leaks in this photo since it makes the photo become more dreamy. The grain is fine despite almost 10 times the film rolls had to go through the airport security scan. Normally, too many security scans can lead to hazy film but luckily this photo turned out to be perfect after being developed. My favourite part of the pic are the little twinkle stars on the water surface that were created by the sunlight.

This pic was taken randomly. It was an afternoon and I was lying on my bed, I then suddenly saw the pretty light on the wall and my old organ, which created a poetic view. So I grabbed my camera and caught that moment.

This was not an excellent shot but it has great meaning for me. I took this on the wedding day of the dearest sister that I've known from university. She has always been nice and kind to me since I first came to the school, and she is also the one that inspires me to explore more about Europe. Besides, I've followed her love story from the beginning and I am truly happy for her.

This is a pic that was taken from my old apartment's balcony. Not something too special, but I love the contrast of the colour red and green. It's just interesting. The photo also brings me a fresh vibe so it is nice to look at it.

I took this pic in August, 2021 - when Saigon was completely locked down and I had to fly back to Geneva. The airport was almost empty that day. There were just a few cargo flights and they even turned off the light and air conditioner when there was no open check-in counter. I've never seen the airport being bleak like that. The film colour even makes it look bleaker, lol.

That's all for today. There aren't many photos in my favourite list, right? I think it might be easy to take a nice shot but it is hard to take an impressive one. Thus, I've been using film cameras for more than 2 years and I don't have many memorable shots (memorable for me at least). I'll try harder.
Thank you and see you next time!
The film photos are really impressive. Somehow I fell in love with your photos. I like them. I also have a camera and I am also very passionate about photography. 😁
Thank you for the compliment.
I'm looking forward to see your works in our community.
beautiful series!
i never heard about this Vibe 400T film before
Oh, I'm sorry, it's just Vibe 400. I added the "T" by mistake. It's not a very popular kind of film but I love its colour.
Btw, Thank you for the compliment!
my pleasure :-)
Very impressive pics! love these.
Thanks a lot. I'm glad you liked it.
