Hello everyone, today I want to share some pictures and a little history of a small stream in village where am school.
This is the Ovom stream. The Ovom stream is located at Unwana in Ebonyi state, a southern state located in the eastern part of Nigeria.
According to an old man from the village, Ovom is owned by a man named Akanu who inherited Ovom from his Father.
Ovom has been there since the creation of the world, it's just a natural gift from God. As a matter of fact, Ovom has been of help to me since I packed in to that village because I get my bathing water from there, it's also drinkable, some people also cook with it, and we also cook with it.
The only problem we have with Ovom is that it only rushes during the raining season, and dries during dry season, but I must confess it has been of help to the people live around.
