Majitelé si je značkovali proti krádeži. Většina z nich se ale už narodila v zajetí. Těch slonů... Majitelé se narodili bůhvíkde.

Staral jsem se víc o to, aby se kluci bavili, aby si četli spousty informací, které byly kolem sloních výběhů a pavilonů k dispozici. Fotografoval jsem mobilním telefonem. Kdybych tu strávil celý den a s lepší technikou, dokázal bych snad udělat i lepší fotografie. Co jsem dokázal, to vidíte.

Nemám názor na to, jestli jsou zoologické zahrady zlo nebo dobro. Ale sloni jsou krásná, majestátní zvířata. Lidé je napřed dovedli na hranu vyhynutí a teď je chrání. Většina zvířat na této planetě, která tu kdy žila, už dávno vyhynula. Pravděpodobně jednou vyhynou i sloni. Jednou vyhynou i lidé.

Jsem rád, že jsem se včera mohl ještě na slony dívat.

Sloni nejsou anonymní. Mají jména. Existuje seznam slonů, kteří zde kdy žili. Někteří se zde narodili, jiní zde zemřeli. Jiní přišli a po čase odešli. Ne sami, ale v bednách.

V současné době zde žije sedm slonů. Afrických a indických. Jsou od sebe odděleni. Předpokládám, že by se mohli křížit. Když to dokáže lev a tygr, proč by to nemohl dokázat slon?
