Those pictures look great, I've heard of tilt shift lens's but I've never used them. I think something like that would be great for the arsenal. Especially when you mentioned being able to get miniature type photos, I'm looking where I live since there are a lot of hills. So I might be able to do some interesting stuff with it. I'm going to look into them.
