With AI and apps like facetune being commonly used by not just photographers but most of the general public- when is it "too much"?
These photos were taken before A , back in 2018 or so. You can see in the first two images I wanted to add a lot of pink and warmish tones to add to the soft vibe i was going for. Not much else was done to these photos, some curve tones, and a bit of dodge and burn. The reflection was done in camera, see my previous posts on how i achieved that.
In the last image, I completely changed it up. I smoothed out her skin quite a lot and made the tone cool and blue-completely altering the feel/emotion.
Minimal editing like changing the warmth and tint of an image greatly impact how you perceive it. Personally, i think skin smoothing like in the third photo (let alone altering facial features like we see a lot of these days), and unrealistic AI components, are what take it too far.
