Simple Life in the Philippines

The Philippines is an archipelago, thus explains the many beaches and coconut trees like this in the photo below:

The country's white sand beaches are way way too many that I guess a lifetime won't be enough to visit every single one. I am blessed to be able to visit some white sand beaches in the country pre-pandemic.

Here are some of the scenes you can find when visiting the Philippines, specifically in the coastal area.

The flares created by the lens due to the sun light.

All photos in this post were taken in Sipalay, Negros Occidental. Sipalay has some unique hills which seemed to be planted in the sea. The mountains or hills in front of the running kids in the photo above are what am referring to.

These children run towards the group of children playing in the sand. Will show you the kids later on this post.

Being an archipelago, the livelihood of the residents were are of course fishing. The ocean is vast and there are so many fishermen in this area of Sipalay. Note that we were in a public beach when these photographs were taken.

The beach was a long stretch and sunset here was to die for, just look at the photo below:

The sunrays were awesome!

In this part of the Philippines, kids play shortboarding. And there were so many of them. Most of the locals were also watching them as they play or practice. These kids line up for their turn on the ramp!

One of the audience during the shortboard practice or showdown. This kid was pretty impressed!

While the above kid was watching the shortboarding show, there were other kids who were already wet and were playing with the sand and the fishes! This part of the beach has a darker colored sand.

Look at these kids, they didn't have anything to worry about.

These were the other athletes waiting for their turn.

The day ended with a very dramatic and beautiful sunset. We also were able to get to fly our drone here and the view above was also beautiful. Will share that in the next posts.

For now, do enjoy the image below:
