Hello #Hive photography lovers friends!... Welcome to a new edition of my black and white street photography series... I continue to do this almost every morning: I go out on the streets of my village and try to ‘ struggle against normality’... Yes, as most of the time, I'm sounding quite strange, but that's what I usually do, because the so-called ‘normality’ and I, have been in open battle since my childhood days, when I used to talk to imaginary creatures (which I still do by the way) and I used to throw tantrums so that my parents ‘wouldn't throw me a birthday party’ because I felt uncomfortable with my house full of kids, the music, the presents, the tokens of affection and everything that a child's birthday celebration includes... So my parents gave up celebrating my birthday when I was 5 or 6 years old and instead gave me books or building block games and let me be alone in my room all day!... But let's get to the pictures, which is the most important thing here!... ;)

¡Hola amigos amantes de la fotografía en #Hive!... Sean bienvenidos a una nueva edición de mis series de fotografías callejeras en blanco y negro... Yo continúo haciendo esto casi todas las mañanas: Salir a las calles de mi pueblo y tratar de "luchar contra la normalidad"... Sí, como casi siempre, estoy sonando bastante extraño, pero eso es lo que suelo hacer, pues la fulana "normalidad" y yo, hemos estado en franca batalla desde los tiempos de mi niñez, cuando hablaba con seres imaginarios (lo cual hago aún por cierto) y hacía pataletas para que mis padres "no me hiciesen fiesta de cumpleaños" pues me sentía incomodo con mi casa repleta de chicos, la música, los regalos, las muestras de afecto y todo lo que una celebración de cumpleaños de un niño incluye... ¡Así que mis padres desistieron de celebrar mi cumpleaños amis 5 o 6 años y en su lugar me regalaban libros o juegos de bloques para armar y me dejaban estar todo el día solo en mi habitación!... ¡Pero vayamos a por las fotos, lo cual es lo más importante aquí!... ;)

These are photos taken today... This is a blessed ‘corner of the world’ where I can go out to take photos every day, and I can always stumble across something new despite being just a handful of complicated and problem-filled streets... So I can get pictures practically by sticking my head out of my garage door!... By the way, today we had another one of those ‘excessively sunny’ mornings and I decided to go out and take pictures and struggle with ‘all those harsh and annoying lights and shadows’ thanks to the motivating comments of our friend and top photographer @victorbz on my recent work and in which he said things that sounded in my head like: ‘Jesus, go and do what you know how to do with those harsh lights and shadows’... And well... So I did!... So: ‘Thank you @victorbz, for that!’... hehehehe :))...

Estas son fotos hechas hoy... Este es un bendito "rincón del mundo" en donde puedo salir a hacer fotos a diario, y siempre puedo toparme con algo nuevo a pesar de ser apenas un puñado de calles complicadas y llenas de problemas... ¡Así que puedo tener fotos prácticamente con sacar mi cabeza por la puerta de mi garaje!... Por cierto, hoy tuvimos otras de esas mañanas "excesivamente soleadas" y me decidí a salir a hacer fotos y a luchar con "todas esas luces y sombras duras y molestas" gracias a los motivadores comentarios de nuestro amigo y fotógrafo top @victorbz en mis trabajos recientes y en los cuales dijo cosas que sonaron en mi cabeza como: "Jesús, ve y haz lo que sabes hacer con esas luces y sombras duras"... Y bien... ¡Así lo hice!... Así que: "¡Gracias @victorbz, por eso!"... hehehe :))...

Then, when I got home, I sat down in front of my PC, downloaded the RAW files from my camera, put on my headphones and played a delightful long violin concerto by Vivaldi while I edited these photos and created this article for you in #Hive... So, I felt that somehow I'm still the: ‘Strange little boy who loved to lock himself in his room with books and building block games’... And that for me is lovely, because I feel that at 53 years of age, I have won the battle against ‘normality’ and I don't say that out of smugness, I say it simply because I always loved to isolate myself... And it's still a delightful thing to do...

Después, cuando regresé a casa, me senté en frente de mi PC, descargué los RAW de mi cámara, me coloqué los auriculares y puse a sonar un delicioso y largo concierto en violín de Vivaldi mientras editaba estas fotos y creaba este artículo para ustedes en #Hive... Entonces, sentí que de alguna manera sigo siendo el: "Extraño niño aquel que amaba encerrarse en su cuarto con libros y juegos de bloque para armar"... Y eso para mi es encantador, porque siento que a mis 53 años de edad, le he ganado la batalla a la "normalidad" y no lo digo por petulancia, lo digo simplemente porque siempre me gustó aislarme... Y sigue siendo algo delicioso de hacer...

Well, that's all for today!... My photos, with strange titles and with a handful of sometimes dystopian lines, which I think serve to explain a little of why I do this almost every day... I hope you enjoyed this work!... ;)

¡Y bien, eso es todo por hoy!... Mis fotos, con extraños títulos y con un puñado de lineas a veces distópicas, las cuales sirven según yo, para explicar un poco porqué hago esto casi a diario... ¡Espero les haya gustado este trabajo!... ;)

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
