Due to personal circumstances beyond our control, I haven't been as active as I would have liked for the past two months. It has just been a crazy time.
Yet, as you all know, we did manage to attend an exciting show-jumping competition. Over the past month, I have published posts sharing photos of some special moments.
Last week, I shared a post - When You Can See the Passion - about Oliver Bishop's round. He is the son of my wife's employer and I believe a competitor with a bright future ahead of him in the equestrian sport.
Two weeks ago, I shared a post - We Had a Special Interest in this Competitor - sharing images of Kerry Muir, Oliver's girlfriend. I am no expert in this sport, but in my opinion, she is also a strong competitor. In that round, if I understand my wife correctly, Kerry rode a horse that belonged to Oliver. But she returned later for a second round, riding a horse belonging to herself.
Today, I want to share photos of her second round.
At first, I didn't know she would be doing a second round. However, here I spotted her warming up her horse by casually letting the horse walk around in an open area.
I continued taking photos of various horses in the area, and when I looked around, Kerry was in the arena!
I was just in time to take this shot and I had to be quick to capture the action in time.
With me standing at the entrance of the arena, she was now on the far side of the arena. I didn't have a good spot and I didn't have the right lens for this distance. Nonetheless, I did capture some shots and decided to share them here.
Clearing another jump!
Then she passed a bit closer to me and I got better shots while she was approaching her final jumps.
Her round was completed, and she was coming toward the exit to leave the arena.
That smile tells you she completed an excellent round.
And with that, we come to the end of today's post.
Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
