Snout Beetles

- Photo Description 📚
In this sixth post, I want to share a wildlife photo and a little knowledge about this beetle. Honestly, I don't know the exact name for this particular beetle. I'm quite short on information, and even after searching the internet for this beetle, I haven't found anything that really resembles it. However, judging by its long mouth, we'll temporarily call it the Snout Beetle.
Judging by the curved shape of its snout, it resembles the Elaeidobius kamerunicus beetle, which is considered a friend of farmers because it helps pollinate oil palms. This beetle's snout is also almost identical to the flea beetle that often infests rice, but its color is black. However, the shape and color are very different. This beetle is predominantly orange with some black, making its back almost resemble a mask.
In my village, this beetle is called the Banyan Snout Beetle because it's often found on banyan tree trunks or leaves. I found this beetle under a banyan tree. I'm hoping someone in this community knows more about this beetle's name. Please let me know.

🎨🖌️ Photo Editor: Use Snapseed with the Pop effect + Brightness around 50 + Selection Tool, then slightly adjust it to a Vintage effect with the desired size and finally use the Vignette tool at 50, or you can adjust the lighting. I recommend that when photographing small animals using a cell phone camera, avoid excessive sunlight.
