It is the most brilliant time of spring in Australia between September and November. Spring in Australia stands out with purple Jacaranda blossoms, just as spring blooms in Japan with pink Cherry blossoms. My first spring in this country of 2020, I was overwhelmed by the purple Jacaranda bushes that lined along many streets around Sydney. Due to its suitable soil, it grows very well in Australia and the flowers usually bloom at the end of October and beginning of November every year, bringing a lovely and romantic spring to the country. Spring is a time when many tourists choose to come to Australia just to see this vibrant purples that cover the streets. Whether the Jacaranda is in full bloom or falling down, either is an amazing sight. With the wind, the flowers fall to form a rain of purple flowers and when they fall onto the roadway, they fill the courtyard with purple.
Purple wasn't my favorite color before. My perception used to be that purple is sad, sentimental, and sometimes evocative of a breakup. My prejudices completely changed when I saw the stunning purple hue of the Jacaranda flowers. In every moment, the flowers are stunningly beautiful regardless of how fragile they are and how easily they can be blown away by the wind. Jacaranda can be found everywhere in Sydney. It could be lined on an entire street, in the school yard, or even just one stand in the home garden. As soon as I saw the Jacaranda branches turn a little purple, I told my husband that I had to go take pictures of them this year during the spring to save the memory of 2021. However, this time was the busiest time for us because we've been renovating our new house to start the next chapter of our married life, so I didn't have much time to go to the famous places to get the best pictures. The pictures here are just random shots of purple flowers that I have taken when I see them, whether driving across the road full of jacaranda flowers, taking a stroll from the train station, or taking a picture of my neighbor's garden.
But I also saved a list of places to see Jacaranda flowers in Sydney for next year, for those of you who are in Sydney and intend to go see flowers, you can refer to the list below.
1, Circular Quay và The Rocks
2, Paddington - Oxford Street and Glenmore Road
3, Lavender Bay
4, Hunters Hill
5, Camden - Argyle Street
6, Kirribilli - McDougall Street
Additionally, at Grafton, which is more than 6 hours drive from Sydney, where there are more than 2000 Jacaranda trees, they also organize the Jacaranda Festival lasting up to 9 days every year to attract tourists. If you're in Australia during the spring, don't miss out on the opportunity to see the purple blooms of Jacaranda.

These are some beautiful shots... thanks for sharing. I love the purple as it's not a color we get to see enough in nature.
Thank you so much for visiting and leaving such a sweet comment! You are so right! I hardly see the purple flowers as well! The truth is I wasn't a fan of purple color before, but after I see these beautiful blooming trees, I start falling in love with this color! :D
It's hard not to fall in love with purple when it looks like that! Purple flowers are one thing but purple trees is even better!
Cheers
It's so nice, I could stare at it for hours. 😊
