Light Painting with Cloe | Event Poster for Cabaret Cravage
A friend of mine organises an event series called cabaret cravage. It features some kinky and provocative artists. The recent event poster featured this lady biting joyfully into her necklaces. The event takes place next week, so it's a good moment to share this one. During this shoot, I thought to pick up on the poster idea and embed it into a Light Painting photo concept.
To do you I found Cloe and Coco to help me out as models.
Eine Freundin von mir organisiert eine kleine Veranstaltungsreihe namens „Cabaret Cravage“. Auf ihrem letzten Plakat, fürs Event, war eine Frau zu sehen, die in ihre Halsketten biss. Die Veranstaltung findet nächste Woche statt, daher ist jetzt ein guter Zeitpunkt, dieses Plakat zu teilen. Während des Fotoshootings kam mir die Idee, das Plakatkonzept aufzugreifen und mein Lightpaintingkonzept zu integrieren.
Projection and Reality
Here is the shot that I think nailed it.
The effect on the left is the projection. If you remember, I used this little projector a while ago. Here too. The idea was to use the image of the lady, projected into the black void next to Cloe, and then lighting Cloe in a pose imitating or interacting with the projection. To get the layered effect of the projection, I used a shiny metal rod and moved it through the projection in front of the camera. All that 3x so the images show up more than just once, and that in different distances.

Der Effekt links ist die Projektion. Falls ihr euch erinnert, habe ich diesen kleinen Projektor vor einiger Zeit schon einmal benutzt. Auch hier. Die Idee war, das Bild der Frau in die schwarze Leere neben Cloe zu projizieren und Cloe dann in einer Pose auszuleuchten, die die Projektion imitiert oder mit ihr interagiert. Um den mehrschichtigen Effekt der Projektion zu erzielen, habe ich einen glänzenden Metallstab verwendet und ihn 3x vor der Kamera durch die Projektion bewegt.
Kinki Touch | Shibari
Lets turn up the heat. If you have a closer look, you'll notice there was some shibari in the works. Instead of the pearls, we wanted to add a feel of kink. What better than ropes? Cloe was rightaway all in, I can tell you!
Drehen wir mal an der Heizung! Anstelle von Perlen wollten wir einen Hauch von Kink einbringen. Was eignet sich da besser als Seile? Cloe war sofort begeistert und stieg sofort auf die Idee ein, das kann ich euch sagen!
Her friend Coco has all the experience needed with the ropes and was making the entire thing into more than just a fun photo shoot.
Ihre Freundin Coco verfügt über die nötige Erfahrung mit den Seilen und machte aus dem Ganzen mehr als nur ein lustiges Fotoshooting.
