Last weekend I did join a few Light Painters on yet another "last-time" trip to the Airfield Schoenwalde. @Lichtkunstfoto, @stepko, and @candelart are some that you may know from here. I must say it was the first time in a while that I joined a bigger group but it was fun. Not very productive in terms of epic art but nice to catch up and play at least a little bit. The following Light Painting is in parts also thanx to @candelart. His Atomic Blaster Machine produced the trails for the blue shape while I rotated the Camera.

Just outside the hangar was the Grafitti of Einstein. We parked pretty much right there. I thought while everyone else is busy Light Painting the Audi TT (sure you will see images of that one soon) I can try a quick light painting. After my first little trials, @candelart joined in to add a little atomic spinning feature.

If you have a closer look you see the entire graffiti right in front of the car.

So lets see how that works.

As you see I could not make the famous Einstein Relativity Formula work on this wall right next to the face. So I chose another part of the wall because it has fewer features. But that meant I had to move the camera to draw the formula on.

So let's try it in two steps. First some light on the Face then move to the other wall and write formula pretty much all free hand.

So that works.

Then Ralf came along and had his Atomic Spinner Machine. A very welcome addition to my composition.

Then next trail is to light up the face and combine it with the spinner to rotate the camera while it was spinning.

Ok that was fun and also worked. So the final version that you see above it was made in a 76-second long single exposure with 3 steps: light the Face, rotate with Spinner, and the Formula. The last step was then lightly messed up because I was in parts between the light and the 'e' but it is visible.
