Recently I have visited the Estonian island Saaremaa a few times. In this post, I wanted to share photos of the first time specifically. We went there with friends to spend the mid-summer day and we stayed there for 3 nights. Two of these three evenings we had great sunsets at the seaside.
The first evening was cloudless. Just a sun going down behind the sea. I always wish for cloud action but this is always beautiful too. I walked around the area a bit to get some photos.
The section evening was something totally different. We had a good cloud cover and the sun set in the exact perfect spot to light up the clouds from below. When I hunt for the sunsets, this is what I'm looking for. I mean, look at it.
It's crazy to think that most of the summer is already over. I haven't been out taking photos that much this season but I hope to fix it in the second half of the summer!
It never occurred to me that sunset pictures are actually better with some cloud cover to provide contrast in the sky. I would have just assumed a clear sky was better so the full colorscape is visible. The more you know!
Well anyways, the pictures are beautiful and the island looks like a nice, quiet retreat.
There is always a lot more bright colors when clouds are present. Or at least a possibility to have more colors in the sky if sun shines on them from the right angle.
Yes, this place on the island is definitel a nice retreat!
Both sunrise and sunset views are amazing. In my today's post, I have included pictures of the sunrise view. It is also beautiful.
Both are sunsets here.
This is a really perfect viewing
