Thank you all for you comments on my introduction post. I mentioned in that post that I'd traveled to Mexico and Thailand and had taken a lot of photos. In this post, I'm going to show you some of the pictures I took in Santiago in Mexico. I was going to put them all in this post but it would have been too long.
I took the pictures on a cheap Chinese mobile phone which was also my first mobile phone. The phone had a reasonably high camera resolution for it's price but the pictures appear snowy when viewed at full size on a computer screen.
Some background to the story first. In March 2018, at the age of 57, I took my first ever flight to fly from England, UK to Mexico to visit my son and grandson. My son lives in Monterrey which is a major city in the north east of Mexico near to the border with USA. One day, we met up with my son's girlfriend's family and traveled up to the mountains nearby in Santiago.
It was an early morning start and we we met on a Walmart car park. From here, I was able to catch the sun rising up above the mountains. As you can see, I tended to take multiple shots of the same, or similar picture, in case the picture was bad.
These pictures were my favorites for a long time until I came here and saw the beautiful pictures other people posted. These are lacking in color but I suppose that's what you get taking pictures directly of a bright sun.
The following waterfall pictures are also some of my favorites.
