Good day Photography Lovers. I’m new in this community of cloud photography but what happened today this morning was a sight that seemed straight out of a science fiction movie - a cloud formation resembling a burning volcano hovering in the skies above Ibafo, Ogun State. This extraordinary phenomenon left i and my friend Amos in awe Viewing the mesmerizing spectacle.

As an eyewitness to this captivating event, I couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer spectacle before me. The cloud, a swirling mass of flame like towered ominously above, casting an eerie glow across the landscape. It appeared as though a volcanic eruption was taking place right above our heads.

I rushed to capture the stunning scene with my smartphone and immediately shared it on my WhatsApp status, expecting some astonished reactions from friends and family. Little did I know that this peculiar sight was not limited to Ibafo alone.
Within minutes of posting my photo, I began receiving a flood of direct messages from people residing in Lagos State, hundreds of kilometers away. They too had spotted the same volcano-like cloud formation in their skies. It was a surreal moment of shared wonder and disbelief.
The phenomenon sparked conversations and speculations among those who witnessed it. Some believed it to be a rare meteorological event, while others speculated that it might be linked to something more mysterious. Social media was abuzz with theories, with some even jokingly suggesting that it was a portal to another dimension.
As the day wore on, the fiery cloud gradually dissipated, leaving behind a sense of mystery and intrigue in its wake. The skies returned to their usual serene blue, but the memory of that remarkable sight lingers on.
I’m still investigating the cause of this unusual cloud formation, one thing is certain: on September 23, 2023, the skies over Ibafo and Lagos State put on a show like no other, leaving us all in awe of the wonders of nature and the power of shared experiences in the digital age.
