I took a look at the news and it looks like you are more informed than myself :)
There has been a new, totally irrational law, that forbidden parking (not only camping but even parking) of campers practically everywhere, except motorways. Meaning that you may park to go to the supermarket and receive a fine. Crazy minds.
The Greek camper association has announced a lawsuit against that law but who knows how it will go.
To my experience though, they made this law so that camping or hotel owners can scare away wild camping from their territory and not for sending police in every isolated beach of Greece to find offenders. Nevertheless it is a very disturbing law...
Im super gutted. It might change our plans - I am not sure I want to go if I can't wild camp. Hopefully the lawsuit will work out.
I can understand that. Ourselves we'll keep camping as we used to (being cautious) but of course I can't guaranty that everything will go smoothly for you (although I believe so).
I hope I'll have some better news in the future.
I hope so. Otherwise I guess we won't spend as long there. I think maybe they don't understand that.
