It is time to hit the road for one more time or I should say "hit the sea" since I am on the ferry for Crete. A trip that I have done so many times in my life, as a child or as adult, for vacation or for work, as a resident of the city going to the island or vice versa or even none of the above, like now!
After all those years, I have developed a love-hate relationship with this ferry line. Sometimes it is the love that prevails, some others the hate and usually the one sneaks into the other spoilling the fun or lightening the snag. Something like yin and yang, in a Greek version :)
This time I am traveling from the small town of Nafplio on the mainland, to the island of Crete and our olive groves and the family's houses that need some care from my behalf.
A trip is a trip though. And there is always the unexpected, the surprise that might come up and change all your plans or anticipations for the better or the worse. Or maybe nothing unexpected happens and what seems to be a tedious trip remains such.
Who knows?
That's all for now. The ship is about to sail and I will loose reception on my mobile phone in a while. I just wanted to give you a heads up as I haven't posted in a while.
All the pictures and the words are mine.

Thanks a lot :)
I hope the ferry trip is going well. We are also contemplating the possibility of hitting the sea, between Spain and Italy. Looking forward to hearing about your experience with this one you are having now.
Thanks a lot!
We are almost there now :)
