Photographing evening Florida sunsets can be "magical"...

Photographing Florida evening sunsets from the deck can be incredible. At times the sky can light up in the most brilliant orange/pink colors during the sunset. You never know until it happens and each evening is different.

It's the mix of the clouds, water in the clouds and magic can happen. I usually will take my Nikon camera, Tonight I wanted to try the iPhone 11 and it almost gives me almost the same quality and it's much lighter to use.

Sometimes I will do a "time lapse" on the clouds as the storm clouds come in. Each day is a surprise. There can be a orange light coming in thru the blinds and I immediately know it might be very interesting.

These are all from the same sunset. I shot them from different angle and different times.

We are looking west as the sun sets and we still have a glimmer of gold and slight pink in the sky.

Sometimes when we have the tropical storms / hurricane bands coming through you can literally see the clockwise rotation of the clouds moving en masse....it's very impressive and you get a feel for how large a storm is as this can take many hours to pass.

I will try to capture some new photos this week with a more vibrant sky with colors that are such a joy to photograph. Maybe now that the beach is open, i can take in a nice morning ocean sunrise for you. The sunrise is even more a roll of the dice. A straight sun can be bright and you only get a few seconds of photos. If you have clouds, then you have colors and it can give you a greater variety of landscape options.

Nature really can be something.

Thank you for reading and viewing.
