Thanks for the detailed post @castleberry.
Just want to clarify as well, I saw someone else wrote something about it, my last activity on the other platform was 11 months ago (because for some reason my Actifit posts were posted on both (?) 11 months ago). I really love this community and do not want to do anything that will jeopardize it. I guess the 11-month inactivity on that account is good enough?
@fermentedphil it most certainly is more than enough time to cover the 'inactivity' spread. However, if you do have any funds or crypto over there... you can be active enough to power down and liquidate your positions over there. Soon, it will be time to start muting people in the community... but most that were active over there have taken this last month or so to power down and move their money out. Some cared so little they just left it... but i wouldn't leave money on the table if there is any over there to be left. Just my penny pinching preference.
Oh, I moved all my funds from there when I found my way onto Hive. The only reason why there was some activity on there was due to the actifit application on my phone posting on both sites for some reason. I might have set up the app incorrectly. Even though I was born post-1990, I am not that tech-literate! In any case, thanks again!
Ahh!! Yes, i didn't even think about the apps and actfit etc. No worries. We haven't made the change yet but will soon.
Most everyone has made their choice already... and some that didn't/couldn't/or wouldn't decide to stick around have already quit posting into Photography Lovers.
They will be missed and unfortunately muted soon. But many decided to double down on their commitment to HIVE and now it will help them focus all their efforts and energy here. That's a win-win in my opinion.
Thanks for the line of communication and for the extra info to factor in. Take care my friend. I'm not as techy as i should be either. hahahah
Pleasure is mine! Glad that we could have this chat.
Best of luck forward and I am looking forward to seeing what the community will look like with people paying more attention to their work.
And again, thanks for all the hard work you put into the community.
Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate your appreciation. We have some interesting things in the not so distant future coming for the community. Take care.
I will keep my eyes peeled! Take care.
