RE: Autumn And Its Full Beauty

Wow, I just had a visual feast with these autumn photos you shared @erikah friend..

I'm really glad to read your comment my dear friend. Tell me something please. Is autumn something similar in your country? Do you have so many nice colors?

By the way, interesting pick 🙂

No, @erikah friend, the truth is we don't have anything like autumn here. In our country, we only have two seasons: a rainy season (from May to October, approximately) and a dry season (from November to April), and the transitions between them don't have the rich colors of something like autumn. Furthermore, for about a decade now, the duration of these two local seasons has been quite disrupted. This year, for example, it started raining the last week of March and hasn't stopped yet; the rains continue to fall with unusual regularity for it being the end of November. Obviously, at the height of the dry season (usually February and March), many deciduous trees lose their leaves, but the colors are dull, neutral, a lot of ochres and browns that aren't very striking to the eye. But it still has its charm. I personally like to photograph the trees with their bare branches when there's morning fog during those months.

I'm sending another round of applause for you and your always excellent content that you share with us!

Looks like we're not the only one experiencing disruption of seasons. We have four seasons, but none of them is what it used to be. Winters are warm, summers are becoming extremely hot, that this year I had to install air conditioning.

Back to your climate, I'd go crazy with so much rain. I'm not afraid of rain, but having it every day puts you to the test.

The problem is, nature gets confused. We often see trees or flowers starting to bloom to early, then comes the cold and kills them all.

Not good.
